The Beach is calling...

Runner's Alley is looking for 10 super awesome, fun, community involved runners to join together in the quest to reach "The Beach" this September as part of the Runner's Alley Ambassador Team. This is a great opportunity to take part in one of New Hampshire's favorite and unique running events: Reach The Beach (or RTB): a 198+ mile relay from the mountains to the sands of Hampton Beach. Each runner will run three legs of no more than 9 miles, including at least one night run, get the use of a van captained by a RTB vet, as well as some SWEET running gear.

For more info on RTB, head to the website

Thanks to everyone who applied to be part of our Runner's Alley Ambassador Reach The Beach team! We got a TON of great runners who applied and it's going to be really tough to narrow it down to 10! Check out out RTB team page in the near future to see who's in!

Here's what our Ambassadors from 2015 had to say:

"I had a great conversation with a 58 year old ultra-runner from CT. His running story was inspiring and he helped give me a boost through my 4am run."

"There is a lot I could say, but I’m going to keep it simple. Train hard, have fun and just roll with it!"

"My favorite part of the whole thing was seeing the van members at the end of each leg and the whole team at the transition areas. It was such a boost of energy at the start and end of each leg to see the team decked out in RA gear and cheering everyone on."

"Most of us in Van 2 were newbies but I feel as though everyone contributed to the functions as well as cheering on the runners. It was a very pleasant experience."

"This was one of the best experiences I’ve had and hope to have the opportunity to run it again."
