sound RUNNER Old Saybrook was opened in the fall of 2010 after the realization that we needed to further support the Connecticut shoreline. Our Old Saybrook location is just a block away from the famous Katharine Hepburn Cultural Arts Center and sits across the street from St. John’s Church. Nestled right between New York City and Boston, this shoreline community boasts some of the prettiest running routes and attracts a large seasonal population.

A born and bred Australian, Matt began working with SoundRUNNER in 2020 shortly after immigrating to The States and progressed to Store Manager in 2021. Matt holds a Masters degree in Exercise Science and has worked in a variety of roles in run speciality stores and sporting teams in Australia. He is also a running coach and works with athletes in his coaching business Aerobic Performance Coaching. Matt is a keen runner and triathlete and spends the rest of his free time watching Australian Rules Football (Google it) and teaching his dog Sunny new tricks
